Soma (Sanskrit: सोम) connotes the Moon as well as a medicinal deity in post-Vedic Hindu mythology.[ In Puranic mythology, Soma is moon deity, but sometimes also used to refer to Vishnu, Shiva (as Somanatha), Yama and Kubera.
TrÄá¹aka (Sanskrit n. तà¥à¤°à¤¾à¤Ÿà¤• trÄá¹aka, tratak, trataka: “to look, or to gaze”) is a method of meditation that involves staring at a single point such as a small object, black dot or candle flame. It is said to bring energy to the “third eye” (ÄjÅˆÄ chakra) and promote various psychic abilities.
